Concierge: Susan

Our 24-hour on-call Concierge service is included at Discovery Beach House vacation villa. Susan has worked with us since 2009. She’s lived in Manuel Antonio for 17 years and knows the area and everyone in it. She’s a concierge extraordinaire dedicated to making your Costa Rica beach vacation fun and worry-free. She can book your tours, activities, services and transportation. She’s available to answer all of your questions and concerns before, during and after your stay.

Gardener: Roberto

Gardening services are included 7 days a week. Roberto has worked at our vacation rental home since 2009 and has lived in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica for 4 years. His duties are to keep everything green, green, green and to maintain our private nature reserve at its optimum to insure the wildlife inhabiting it remains healthy and benefits from our protected environment. We work with a botanist to enrich our biodiversity and have planted more than 65 trees under his supervision.

Housekeepers: Lilliam & Manuela

Housekeeping services are included Monday-Saturday. Lilliam has worked with us since 2004. In addition to her housekeeping duties, she is an exceptionally creative towel origami artist. 5-star hotels and cruise lines have nothing on our Lilliam. Each day our guests look forward to her new designs personalized especially for them. Manuela has been with us since 2006. She helps Lilliam with the laundry every other day and can also do ironing if you like.

Pool and General Maintenance: Juan

Pool and maintenance services are included 7 days a week. Juan has been with us since 2006 and has lived in the area since then. His duties include maintaining the pool and Jacuzzi at maximum efficiency and at the perfect Ph levels. He is also available to instantly fix anything that needs attention including air conditioners, appliances, plumbing, electrical, etc. If something isn’t working perfectly, Juan’s your man.

Security: Cesar

Security guard services are included 7 days a week from 7:00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M. Please note that daytime male staff are also trained in security providing you and your loved ones with round-the-clock security. Cesar has been with us since 2006 and has lived in the area since then. His duties are to maintain a vigilant presence for your peace of mind during your Costa Rica beach vacation.

Spa Services: Evelina (optional)

Spa services are available on-call 7 days a week. Evelina has worked with us since 2006 and has lived in Manuel Antonio for more than 12 years. She is the founder of the Holis Spa Wellness Studio and has practiced for 20 years. In addition to traditional  massages, she also practices mind/body therapies such as craniosacral, Diagnostic Energy Integration (DEI) and more. Manicures, pedicures, facials and private Yoga and Pilates classes are also available on-site at the Discovery Beach House.

Chef: Desiree (optional)

Chef services are on-call and an optional feature. Chef Desiree has worked with us since 2008 and has lived in the area for 18 years. She was born in Paris and specializes in international cuisine. She’s a self-taught chef who wins kudos from all of our guests. Chef Desiree is also available for catering and special events.

Professional Childcare Service: Schatzi Stiens (optional)

Make your Manuel Antonio vacation villa stay even more enjoyable by taking advantage of our professional childcare services. Schatzi Stiens is a local pre-school teacher with experience working with children of all ages. She is bilingual and can offer fun, educational, interactive child care services during your stay.

She can give you some much needed time away with peace of mind that your child is safe and having a great time. You can relax poolside, read a book or take a nap while Schatzi enjoys time with your child right at the Discovery Beach House vacation rental home. Going to an event? Need a night out for a romantic dinner or would you like to enjoy live music at one the many venues Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica has to offer? Schatzi is available for a single visit, or can offer her services daily during your stay. Relax during your next Costa Rica beach vacation…Schatzi will take care of your children when you need a break.
